October 25 Transferred two frozen embryos--unsuccessful
December 13 Dr. discovers uterine polyp during ultrasound
January 2, 2015 Hysteroscopy to remove polyp--all is clear
February 13 Transferred two frozen embryos--SUCCESS!
May 4 14 week appointment--no fetal heartbeat
May 8 D&C
June 7 Admitted to ER for abnormal/heavy bleeding
June 12 Second D&C
June 16 Receive email about adoption situation: Birthmother R
June 17 Husband agrees to pursue adoption/Send in paperwork to apply to be
presented for birthmother R
July 17 Find out about birthmother K situation. Send in application
July 20 Receive email that birthmother K has chosen another family. Email coordinator about update on birthmother R. No response.
July 24 Receive email that previous adoptive family has changed their minds and birthmother K has chosen us. We ask attorney for more details and he meets with K over the weekend.
July 27 We tell attorney that we would like to go forward. We are adopting a baby boy! C- Section is scheduled for August 18th. K is having some contractions.
July 28 Adoption Service Provider meets with K to sign first part of adoption placement agreement. Meeting goes well. K says she would like us to choose the name to put on the birth certificate. We start thinking about boy names!
July 29 Presumed father signs waiver to parental rights. He is very supportive of the adoption.
